Who We Are
DigiTicket Africa is a digital event ticketing platform based in Johannesburg, South Africa. We sell tickets on behalf of event organizers, venues and promoters, handling everything from the moment a patron finds an event to the moment they are scanned through the door.
We are a subsidiary of InfoByte Technologies (Pty) Ltd, a South African technology group. Our sister company WuloPay is a payment solutions provider operating within the Visa ecosystem, which means payments and ticketing are built and supported by the same group rather than stitched together from unrelated vendors.
Being locally based matters for the practical things: we bill in Rand, our support team works South African hours, and we handle personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). You can read exactly how in our Privacy Policy.

Every ticket carries a unique QR code that is scanned and validated at entry, so a ticket cannot be used twice.
Pay only when you sell
No setup costs and no monthly subscription. Commission is charged per paid ticket and deducted from your payout, and free or RSVP tickets attract no commission at all.
Our commission and booking fees are published in full on our pricing page. We would rather you see the numbers before you ask than discover them in a contract.
How We Work
We act as an agent for event organizers. The organizer sets the ticket prices, the event terms and the entry requirements. We provide the platform that sells and validates the tickets, and we collect payment on their behalf. That relationship shapes our refund policy, where event-specific terms take precedence.
We publish our pricing. Commission rates, booking fee tiers and who pays them are all stated openly rather than quoted case by case behind a sales call.
We vet the organizers we work with. Organizer applications are reviewed manually, including company registration and supporting documentation, before an account is approved to sell tickets.
